Certificate in Practical Nursing

Students successfully completing the Practical Nursing program receive a CERTIFICATE in Practical Nursing and become eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN)

Students will need to test at the Beginning Algebra level for course placement.

Associate in Applied Science Degree

Students successfully completing the Associate Degree Nursing Program receive an ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE and become eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

(Must be a graduate of a Practical Nursing program and successfully have completed general education courses fo the practical nursing program) and successful completion of a national NCLEX predictor exam above the national passing standard)

  • NR2103 Integration Seminar 3 hours

  • Level II Total Program Requirements  69 Hours

***This course is required to be taken by the student who has graduated from a practical Nursing program other than SCCC or the student who has graduated from the SCCC program more than two years previously.
