The National Board Exam for Respiratory Therapy graduates is the Therapist Multiple Choice exam.  Graduates can pass this exam at two levels:  As a Certified Respiratory Therapist or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.  The exam pass rates for the SCCC Respiratory Therapy program are as follows:

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2016-2018 demonstrate a Certified Respiratory Therapist exam pass rate of 89% (Outcome threshold 80%).

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2016-2018 demonstrate a Registered Respiratory Therapist exam pass rate of 79% (no threshold for this data).

The data from 2016-2018 for student retention demonstrate an average of 88% (Outcome threshold is 70%). The on-time graduate rate from 2016-2018 demonstrate an average of 100% (Outcome threshold is 70%).

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2016-2018 demonstrate an average of 100% employer satisfaction (Outcome threshold is 80%) and the average job placement rate is 94% (no threshold for this data) by employment in the field, a closely related field, or by continuing their education within one year of graduation.

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2016-2018 demonstrate an average of 100% satisfaction (Outcome threshold is 80%) of the SCCC Respiratory Therapy program.
