The National Board Exam for Respiratory Therapy graduates is the Therapist Multiple Choice exam.  Graduates can pass this exam at two levels:  As a Certified Respiratory Therapist or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, however, the goal of all Respiratory Therapy programs is to prepare students to pass at the Registry level.  Exam pass rates at the registry level and program outcome data for a three year average are as follows: 

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2017-2019 demonstrate a Registered Respiratory Therapist exam pass rate of 74% (no threshold for this data).

The data from 2017-2019 for student retention demonstrate an average of 93% (Outcome threshold is 70%). The on-time graduate rate from 2017-2019 demonstrate an average of 76% (no threshold for this data).

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2017-2019 demonstrate an average of 100% employer satisfaction (Outcome threshold is 80%) and the average job placement rate is 84% (Outcome threshold is 70%) by employment in the field, a closely related field, or by continuing their education within one year of graduation.

Respiratory Therapy graduates data from 2017-2019 demonstrate an average of 100% satisfaction (Outcome threshold is 80%) of the SCCC Respiratory Therapy program.
